I don’t know about you, but I was glad to be back on the mats after the holidays,

I did notice something though, which inspired this post:

That some people come back better, and some people come back worse after a break,

Have you noticed this in yourself? Which one are you?

I talked with someone before rolling about how his cardio had suffered over the holidays,

I’m sure most people gained a few pounds,

And for sure some people’s skills got sloppier.

This doesn't just apply to Jiu Jitsu either, this could be any sport/hobby/practice,

Or just your overall movement & health.

You may only notice one major area of your health & fitness suffering,

But really these affect every other part of your health, your movement, and your life.

Once your cardio goes, you can throw your technique out the window with it,

Carrying around extra weight is going to bring down your cardio levels, among many other things,

And all of these slow down your progress in life, in one way or another.

I noticed there were some key differences that will either make or break you in movement & health,

The three main things are your mindset, your foundation, and your strategy,

How you approach the situation, the base you have underneath you, and what you do to achieve the outcome that you desire,

These three things can be applied to any part of your life (and they are, whether you like it or not).

How you do anything is how you do everything.

So improving these three things in your health will improve all other areas of your life,

Your practice will be better, your career will be better, your relationships will be better,

When you do this, when you have the right mindset, the right foundation, and the right strategy,

You will be able to enjoy the holiday to the fullest, and not only will your health & your Jiu Jitsu performance NOT suffer...

It will actually be BETTER.

If you find yourself coming back worse after every holiday, after every break, taking two steps forward and one step back, over and over again, and you are ready to end that cycle and just keep moving forward, then book a call and we can talk about how you can do that.

I’ve opened up a few slots in my calendar to speak with those who are committed and coachable and ready to take action towards a better future now.

Click that link, pick a time that works for you, and fill out the form afterwords. We’ll hop on the phone for about 45 mins and get you clear on what’s keeping you stuck in that cycle of little to no progress.

If we’re a good fit to work together then we can talk about the next steps you need to take to cultivate confidence, clarity, and strength, simply. It’s very simple, yes, but as with anything worth having - it’s not easy.

But really, who cares if it’s easy or not? It is WORTH IT. If you want it to be easy, then we likely aren’t a good fit.

If you are ready to make a real, lasting change towards unleashing your true potential today, then book a call and I’ll talk with you soon.
